Sports injuries can often be highly complex and multi-faceted. Therefore, accurate diagnosis and appropriate management and treatment, as well as the provision of detailed training advice, requires considerable experience. Sports injuries are often the result of bio-mechanical errors like poor running form or incorrect bike position.
Phil Mack, our highly experienced Consultant Physiotherapist will explain the causes of common running injuries like achilles tendonitis, calf strain and runners knee, as well as injuries that occur in other sports like shoulder and hand injuries. He will also explain how to avoid injury though strengthening and mobilising exercises and what to do if you do get injured. Here are three recent articles from Phil on running, triathlon AND knee injuries.
There will be a Q & A session at the end of the talk as well as a drop-in clinic where you can discuss your injury on a one to one basis.
