Pilates for Women’s Health
Pregnancy & Postnatal Clinical Pilates
Our Pilates qualified Women’s Health team provide Clinical Pilates classes designed specifically for Mum’s and Mum’s to be. These small, supportive group sessions combine safe, evidence-based exercises with specialist physiotherapy knowledge to help you stay strong, comfortable and confident throughout pregnancy and into motherhood.
Pregnancy and childbirth place unique demands on the body. Our classes focus on the key areas most affected — the pelvic floor, deep abdominal muscles, posture, breathing and overall movement control. Each programme is carefully adapted to your stage of pregnancy or recovery so that every exercise is safe, supportive and effective.
Whether you want to stay active during pregnancy, prepare your body for birth, or rebuild strength after your baby arrives, our women’s health physiotherapists will provide expert guidance every step of the way.

Your appointment will take place in a private, calm clinical environment, where you will have time to talk openly about your symptoms and concerns. Assessments and treatments are always explained clearly, carried out respectfully, and only performed with your full consent.
Many women live with symptoms for months or even years because they feel embarrassed, assume it is “normal,” or simply don’t realise effective treatment is available. In reality, many pelvic health and women’s health issues respond extremely well to the right physiotherapy approach.
Our goal is simple: to help you feel comfortable in your body again, regain confidence in movement, and return to the activities you enjoy.

EXCELLENT Based on 125 reviews Posted on Daniel WrightTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A great Physiotherapist with simple instructions, fair pricing and well equipped rooms and staff. I can highly recommend Carmen - she's great at her job, incredibly informative and fun to chat to!Posted on Susan BrownTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Aidan was great, he was very professional but easy to talk to and gave me exercises that would help aid my knee recovery, which are doing just that. Thank you so much Aidan. Would highly recommend this company.Posted on harsh chhabraTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had 10 sessions of physiotherapy at South Gyle Physiotherapy Clinic with Dr. Aidan Harris for my neck pain. The sessions really helped and I noticed a big improvement. Dr. Harris was very cooperative and friendly, which made the whole process a lot easier. Massage and needling treatments were applied and I found them effectivePosted on Katie SandersTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I feel very lucky to have found Carmen Wan after suffering from lower back pain for so many months. Carmen is very laid back and friendly which made my first consultation easy and first treatment really good too. Carmen knew exactly how to treat my pain and after the first visit I had much less pain and could move far better. I wish I had gone to a physio much sooner! I continued with 5 more visits and was also given exercises to do at home which really helped too. Obviously physio appointments are expensive but well worth every penny for the relief they give you. I would have no hesitation in recommending Carmen particularly if you suffer from lower back pain caused by sitting at a desk for long periods. My only complaint was that I just wish the appointment was for longer! It goes so quickly!Posted on Jim KnightTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Carmen is a wonderful physio.Posted on jim lewisTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My wife experienced terrible heel pain for 9 months which a podiatrist could not fix. She attended the physiotherapy clinic and under the care of Biju Choran and his shockwave therapy and exercise regime she is now able to walk normally and resume golfing. Huge thanks to Biju for his fantastic care and knowledge.Posted on Keep Fit BunnyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been treated by Aidan Harris for leg strengthening exercises following two recent knee replacements. I have also had some issues associated with muscular spasms and hamstring tears in one leg. Aidan is excellent, very knowledgeable and professional in his treatment protocols. I have recommended him to several family members and friends.Posted on Kate GTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I attended this clinic to see Anthony for lower back pain - he really helped get to the root cause of the issue and was able to amend and adapt his consultation style to help me get the best out of appointments (which is sadly rare! So if youre neurodivergent, Anthony is your man!), and to hopefully implement long lasting recovery:)Posted on Trena MacaulayTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. From the first appointment and meeting Anthony, I felt he really listened to past history and instead of looking at a quick fix, he very much was looking at long term which I am very grateful for. He was very encouraging and I felt that we were working together with him respecting my need to continue with adapted exercise throughout. Things are definitely improved and all exercises have been explained and I feel I know ‘my body’ better after Anthony’s explanations. Thank youPosted on Simon BurtonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Anthony Guiducci was a really excellent physiotherapist. I had a knee injury from skiing which was hurting when I walked and preventing me from skiing. Anthony prescribed a course of treatment which enabled me to go skiing again without any problem. He was always careful to explain everything and helped me troubleshoot a number of times, including twice when I was concerned I was going backwards with the treatment. I would highly commend both Anthony and the South Gyle physiotherapists to you.
