Myrto Tapaki
Specialist Women's Health & MSK Physiotherapist, Clinical and Women’s Health Pilates Instructor
BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy MCSP, HCPC, POGP, APPI Pilates Teacher
Myrto is a physiotherapist with First Class Honours from Glasgow Caledonian University, specialising in women’s health physiotherapy. She supports women across all life stages with concerns including urinary symptoms, pelvic pain, pregnancy-related conditions, postnatal recovery, and menopausal symptoms.
She has completed specialist training through the Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP) professional network in pelvic health, pregnancy, and postnatal rehabilitation. Myrto is passionate about breaking down taboos around women’s health, believing that while some issues may be common, they should never be accepted as “normal.”
Alongside her physiotherapy degree, she holds a Diploma in Sports Massage and has completed Clinical Pilates Matwork and Women’s Health Pilates training, including prenatal, postnatal, menopause, and pelvic floor rehabilitation. She integrates Pilates into treatment to support core and pelvic floor function, improve movement control and posture, reduce pain, and help women build strength and confidence through pregnancy, recovery, and menopause.
She also has experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, supporting recovery and helping individuals return to the activities they enjoy.
Originally from Cyprus, Myrto now calls Scotland home. Outside the clinic, you’ll likely find her hiking, travelling, practising Pilates, or enjoying a good book.
