Nic Brown
Specialist Sports & MSK Physiotherapist
BScPhysio, MScClinPhysio(Sports), APAM, MACP, MCSP, HCPC
Nic has recently moved to Scotland from Adelaide, Australia; a hub of physiotherapy education and research recognised worldwide. Having graduated in 2014 with his Bachelor degree, he gained experience in the USA before returning home to further hone his skills. Nic completed his Master of Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy (Sports) in 2023, then decided it was time for another sea change.
Nic thoroughly enjoys sport and helping those with sporting injuries. He has seen athletes at all levels, from the weekend warrior, to amateur, semi-professional and professional sportspeople who have gone on to represent their respective countries at the Olympic and Commonwealth Games. But his passion for physiotherapy doesn’t stop there, being very well adept at treating the day to day niggles we all face.
In his spare time, he will be attempting to explore as much of the UK as possible, participating in sport (including the ever-confusing Australian Rules Football) and maintaining his fitness in the gym or a run around his local area – so you can really know he’s experiencing some of the exercise he may prescribe.
Nic is loving Peebles but most afraid of the Scottish weather – wish him luck!
