Frank Ryan
Specialist MSK & Sports Physiotherapist
MSc (Hons) Physio, BSc Health & Perform, HCPC, MCSP
Frank graduated in 2012 with a BSc in Health and Performance Science followed by a Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University. Frank spent 6 years developing his skills in the NHS before going full time with The Physiotherapy Clinics.
The combination of his two degrees has provided Frank with not only the skills to comprehensively assess and treat acute and chronic conditions, but the ability to apply advanced knowledge with exercise prescription, which is essential for rehabilitation from injury and optimising athletic performance.
Frank is an excellent athlete in his own right, previously playing hockey with the very successful Grange Hockey team in Edinburgh. He now runs, swims and cycles and recently completed his first Ironman.
Frank hails from Dublin originally and descended upon Edinburgh to further his studies and embark on his Physiotherapy career. He now resides in the Scottish Borders where he swims, bikes and runs with his happy black spaniel along side him.
