Shockwave Therapy is the most advanced technology for the non-invasive treatment of chronic conditions like plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonitis, patellae tendonitis, and shoulder injuries.
When these type of injuries fail to respond to conservative treatment, then shockwave is a very effective painless treatment, especially when combined with traditional physiotherapy treatment.
We are delighted to announce our recent investment in focused shockwave to complement our radial shockwave. Both units are manufactured by Storz in Switzerland, the leaders in shockwave equipment. Focused shockwave has more advanced benefits for deeper injuries like hip and shoulder conditions, as well effective treatment for ED.
Our Consultant Physiotherapist, Phil Mack and his SWT team have been administering Shockwave for the past 6 years and considered an expert in the field. Click HERE for more information.

Phil is a consummate professional in the way he approached every aspect of my training and development. He is a great listener but above all he’s a real doer and his can-do attitude and positive outlook when faced with the biggest of challenges is why working with him is an honor and a privilege.

As a GP with an interest in marathon running I have been extremely impresssed by the thorough assessment I have received whenever I have sought treatment. The treatment & advice I received gave me the confidence to resume my marathon training and perform to the best of my ability

Physio in Sport have looked after my atheletes for a number of years with excellent results. Their communication is excellent keeping me up to speed with the athletes’ progress which has a massive bearing on my advice to the injured athlete.

I was struggling to sort out an injury but The Physiotherapy Clinics got to the root of the problem and also helped me adjust my training whilst I was injured. This played a major role in having a really successful race shortly after I recovered.

Thanks to the expertise and determination of The Physiotherapy Clinics I am now back racing at the top level after experiencing an injury I thought would end my racing career.

I have been seeing Phil for my sports related injuries since 2009 and for the last 12 months he’s been my performance coach for Enduro (mountain bike) racing.  He has taken the time to understand my mindset and has been a constant source of guidance, structure and immense training knowledge.
