SPECIALISTS IN SPORTS INJURIES & PHYSIOTHERAPY

Our team of highly experienced Specialist Sports and Musculo-Skeletal (MSK) Physiotherapists have a wealth of experience treating sports injuries, back, neck and postural pain, as well as muscular and joint conditions. We also have Sports Physiotherapists who specialise in running and cycling injuries. They all follow a holistic approach, and provide the most recent evidenced based treatments, techniques and advice.

Our five sports injury and physiotherapy clinics, located in Edinburgh and Peebles, have developed an excellent reputation for providing effective treatment and advice for both sports and non-sports injuries, post- surgery and rehabilitation.

Occasionally, physiotherapy on it’s own is not enough to completely resolve chronic conditions like shoulder impingement, achilles tendinitis, plantar fasciitis and knee arthritis. Since the introduction of Shock Wave Therapy and Injection Therapy at our clinics, we are able to provide our patients with the most advanced levels of treatment and rehabilitation when conventional treatment is not enough.

FREE DROP-IN CLINICS

Every week there are free drop-in clinics held in Edinburgh and Peebles. If you are uncertain about your injury, or what to do, come and chat to one of our experienced Physiotherapists for advice.

Physio in Sport have looked after my atheletes for a number of years with excellent results. Their communication is excellent keeping me up to speed with the athletes’ progress which has a massive bearing on my advice to the injured athlete.

John ScottScottish and GB Athletics Coach

I was struggling to sort out an injury but Physio in Sport got to the root of the problem and also helped me adjust my training whilst I was injured. This played a major role in having a really successful race shortly after I recovered.
